I think the things that look like mushrooms on the tree are shelf fungi.

ReplyDeleteThe ones on the tree we call 'Bracken Fungi' some are edible but you really need to have expert advice before trying any. The grey ones are very nice, again not sure what these are, I will have a look around tomorrow and see if I can come up with anything.

Nice shots, Ive heard the top ones called bracket fungi, usually seeing them on a tree means there is an exntensive network already in the tree.
ReplyDeleteyes i too have seen the top ones being called bracket fungi...the second one are unusual but do look like mushrooms..i love their colour
