A Pathway, A Bench and More Trees

The leaf covered pathway that leads down to Pandapas Pond from the parking area

Oh what will I do when all of the leaves fall??

  1. When all the leaves fall the tree branches will reveal their shapes, birds will be easy to spot, and hopefully snow will fall.
I would love to rest a while on that bench and listen to the sounds of this woodland.

  2. Beautiful colours, as it is semi tropical here in Brisbane we don't get these displays of autumn colours, so it is always nice to see them.

  5. When the leaves are all gone you will start thinking of spring and the new green leaves and flowers.
I'll miss the leaves too and mine aren't nearly as pretty as yours.

  6. Very beautiful.

You asked about my Nikon D40, but alas, it's been in the repair shop since I got it, broken LCD screen. And I don't think the repair shop knows hot to fix it. :|

    Looks like you're enjoying yours!

  12. Beautiful! A great place for a walk. But, when the leaves are gone, imagine the blanket of snow, and frosty tree branches.

  14. To answer your question: you'll take pictures of bare trees in the winter.

Contrary to popular belief, winter light is some of the most beautiful light of the year.

You have a very beautiful subject in Va., and I think your photography is very nicely composed.

    Keep up the good work.

  18. I cannot get over how beuatiful and rich the colors are in your area. We never see anything other than the yellows, which is still pretty but not quite as striking as your reds and oranges. I want to walk down that pathway and sit on that bench!
