Sorry, John and thanks for asking. I abbreviated "IW" for our local Izaak Walton park. Committed to conservation of purity of water, the clarity of air, and the wise stewardship of the land and its resources; to know the beauty and understanding of nature and the value of wildlife, woodlands, and open space. A wonderful picture that captures peace and serenity. I would love to walk through that park. I love barn pictures too and never get tired of looking at them.
There was a park, when I lived in Knoxville, that was special to me, and your post brings back good memories of it. It was a homestead on the river that later became a park and brought in lots of kids for field trips. They had a museum and lots of hands-on learning opportunities. I loved going there. Sounds like you have the same type of relationship to this place :)
You made me laugh when you said you filled up your memory card - I am notorious for taking hundreds of pictures (I have to, so that at least ten of them will be good!).
i agree with you when u say photography is therapeutic......every time i have a lousy day, i step out armed with a camera, and more often than not, i come back happy :)
It does look peaceful there. What is an "IW" park?
