Yearning To Be Carried Away

I like to think a flower opens itself to outgrow its plantedness.
That it yearns to be carried away.

That's a super picture. I think we used to call that Old Man's Beard in England, not sure what it's called on this side of the pond.

Does anyone else remember the book "Ferdinand The Bull"? I loved that book as a child, and this shot makes me think of Ferdinand, contentedly smelling and examining the little things like this, relaxing in his field.
Thanks,
Wayne

I love when weeds go to seed -- they are so pretty! I thought I spotted a rainbow but someone else mentioned sunset. What ever it is makes it absolutely beautiful.
