Embark!

The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn't matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark.

At the overlooks, sometimes there are paths/hiking
trails....this is one of those.

  1. Wow, living in Canada, I wasn't familiar with the Blue Ridge Parkway but I'm glad you posted this because I learned something new! What a long trail. And it took many years to construct. I would love to travel that. Have you traveled that whole trail ever, Kerri? Nice picture.

  8. We had yardwork weekend last week. This week it rained so much I thought I would need to build an ark.

  12. Let me just reiterate how I envy your proximity to the BRP. I am sooo jealous. That path speaks to me in a voice from my childhood... come away, come run with me, come explore...
