Little pieces of my life and my photos.
I wondered if the photo on the top is the same tree as in your 'brown and gray' post? It's amazing how beautiful the ice can make things look. We get one of these type of storms every couple of years here. I'll be sure to have my camera at the ready for the next one.
It's amazing how beautiful this ice rain can be even though it can be so destructive at times. You've captured the crystal lustre around the branches as if it was made of glass. So pretty, Kerri. The Rocky Mountain Retreat
It's nice to see and wonderful when it melts before doing too much damage.
I probably shhouldn't mention that it was in the 70s here all last week, huh? :) It's colder now though.
Ice is wonderful to photograph. These are beautiful.I went out and got some ice shots last Friday as well. I find ice to be one of those irresistible subjects.
Nice pictures Kerri! I hope you have a warm fire to sit beside when you aren't outside taking pictures.
Awww...beautiful! Beautifully captured..Ice makes everything so beautiful & magical! And I know you are happy it melted quickly~That's alway's a plus..:)Stay warm! & Happy Holiday's!!Cat
Ice can sure make things beautiful! Your pictures reminded me of our ice storm several years ago, it just seemed so eerie to go through that.
Brrr... we are getting some cold weather here in Florida, finally, and this ice makes me go brrr... And yes, I should have said some COOL weather. We are still a long way from cold. Neat pictures.
ice makes wonderful scenes, but it has also very dramatic consequence. Your shot saw us only the wonderful part
Have read about the ice storms, dramatic but not very nice. Beautiful sunsets though.
Lovely photos. I always like seeing snow/ice photos becuase in the place I live the choice is between sun or rain...
Hi KerriThese are beautiful pictures and make me shiver just looking at them... we are starting to see some frost now and the hills above looked to be covered.
Sad to say, but now that I have gotten the photography bug, when we get bad weather, like ice, one of my first thoughts is - "OOOO! I need to try to take cool pics!". Very nice pictures!
Your blog is awsome! I can spend the whole day here! Well done! I followed your link from the comments you left on my photoblog www.inagouws.aminus3.com - thank you so much for your visit and nice comments. Greetings from South Africa!
Your photoblog is really well done. It is full of fantastic photos. I must admit that for my photo of benches in mine post, I'have been inspired to your benches of 4 December. Have a nice week.
Beautiful photos. The second photo its simple and beautiful.
the ice shot is beautiful but yet so harmful. It leaves such a beautiful site doesn't it. Today we finally are getting some snow, they say the rest of the week. so maybe i can get some snow shots
Whatever damage the storm must have made, at least it gave you the opportunity for some good pictures. Especially the second one.
i love seeing this. great captures.
Ice can be so beautiful yet so destructive. We were lucky and only had rain here. It stayed just above freezing.
Ice makes beautiful pictures, but horrible driving conditions!
Beautiful photos! I especially like the second one where the ice looks like crystals.
Loved the ice storm pictures as well. Have a nice Advent season! Andrea from Germany
Those frozen pine needles look so cold yet so beautiful. I wish we could get a freeze or some snow.
Those are beautiful photos! I love photograph of ice - they have a bit of magic to them. Looks like quite a storm!
