Thank God for Adobe!! It does wonders for my photographs! Thanks for your kind comment regading my shots. We all need a little encouragement from time to time! :-) Take care!
I agree. Digital editing has been the salvation of many of my photos that would have otherwise ended up in the trash. (Of course, for some of mine, no amount of Photoshop could help! LOL!)
Hey, that's pretty cool! I love that! I make it a point of cleaning up photos at the beginning of each year otherwise my computer would be sooooooo o oooo ooo oo slll oowww ww teehhheee It's a beautiful photo Kerri! ~Michele~ Rocky Mountain Retreat
Personally I like the original and might have just added a Gaussian blur layer over the top of it to soften it and give it a bit of glow. Sort of an Orton effect. The colors are so vibrant and pretty.
As you get better and better with the camera you may find that you will get more picky about the images you keep. I used to keep everything! Not so much anymore.
It's amazing what can be done with photoshop. You can't believe everything you see. :-) I throw out a lot of my pictures simply because they aren't very good!
Hi, you were right holding on to that beautiful picture! I came over from evlahos' blog, and I am glad I did! I can so understand your feelings about not wanting to delete any images! I first encountered the phenomena, that things you consider today worthless, may be tomorrows treasures, when I started watching old videos of our kids when they were small. I am glad to this day that nobody ever had the time to edit them!

I too have done this sort of thing many times...which tells you how many of my photos need help :-) It's great fun to try different things out: very liberating. Adobe certainly is a wonderful thing.
You certianly made the right choice! It looks great!!! I can relate, I never delete any of my photos, no matter how much room they may take up on my hard drive.
I love what you did with this photo! I'm like you - it's really hard for me to delete any photos, even if I think they are awful. Perhaps I should go back and play with them in Photoshop!
I think you made a good choice in not deleting it. Nice PS work on this one.
