Nice captures of birds. I especially like the titmouse. Good selective focus!

Fantastic, Kerri!! The background of that second really lets us see the titmouse. I love this time of year. Wow, such nice shots.

I think I must compliment YOU with the birds rather than the other way around! :-)

Very nice bird shots! I see green in the background so I'm hoping spring is on it's way where you live.

The balance between subject and background is just right on these. By the way...I'm so impressed you know the names of all the different flora and fauna you put up. :-)

Great shots, thanks for the visit to my blog. I really like the other blog you have here too. I have so many photos that I like, but they just aren't good enough to do anything with as they are. I look forward to getting photoshop, so I can rework them. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful birds. I am seeing a lot more shots of birds so I guess Spring is in the air for everyone now. I love Spring. Everything comes back to life.

Kerri,
these bird fellows make for such uplifting images! You have become a real expert in bird photography. Have you ever been at Old Man Lincoln's bird blog?

My Tuesday just got better Kerri..
Two great captures.. wins you a poem.

BIRD

It was passed from one bird to another,
the whole gift of the day.
The day went from flute to flute,
went dressed in vegetation,
in flights which opened a tunnel
through the wind would pass
to where birds were breaking open
the dense blue air -
and there, night came in.

When I returned from so many journeys,
I stayed suspended and green
between sun and geography -
I saw how wings worked,
how perfumes are transmitted
by feathery telegraph,
and from above I saw the path,
the springs and the roof tiles,
the fishermen at their trades,
the trousers of the foam;
I saw it all from my green sky.
I had no more alphabet
than the swallows in their courses,
the tiny, shining water
of the small bird on fire
which dances out of the pollen.

The details are phenomenal! I don't know whether those birds are common in your area, but I don't think I've seen either one before.
