They are great captures...I have enjoyed seeing them.
ReplyDeleteWOW
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to opologize, or a larger lens.. these are great.. thanks for sharing and congrats on your great find.
ReplyDeleteKerri,
ReplyDeleteIt's my favorite bird. The GBH has devoured a pondful of fish at my homes in MD and DE. But I still marvel at it's beauty. You captured that bird beautifully. Gosh I love your photos!
Mary
really nice! great bird capture!
ReplyDeleteI'm still amazed that GBHs can be found at all in this neck of the woods. Congrats on seeing one and on getting some good pics of it!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a giant plane in the bottom photo! great timing on this shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Kerri. They are quite the elusive bird. We have one that visits our local park pond most late afternoons. I've managed about 3 semi-decent shots out of hundreds of attempts. I've never managed to get one of him in flight, so I'm quite impressed with your shots. Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to see a Great Blue Heron fly!
ReplyDeleteI want to let you know that I borrowed from your comment on my Zinnia photo and added kaleidoscope to the title. I hope that is ok with you. Thank you!
Also, thank you so much for listing my photoblog on your photoblog site. Very kind of you.
Hi, found your blog in a roundabout way--LOVE the gbh photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a find!!! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteI thought the one in flight was an awesome shot.. Salty as a post today about these birds as well..
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a great capture -- nothing the matter with your camera. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI also commented below.
These are great shots - I'm envious!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteThose are great shots!! I see a heron quite often on my walking paths, but have never been able to get a picture of it. They are beautiful to see flying.
ReplyDeleteAmazing captures! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic series of photos, Kerri!
ReplyDeleteI love it when this happens Kerri. I love the way you have captured him in flight
ReplyDeleteThese are incredible! I can imagine your excitement at seeing this stunning bird!
