Dragons and a Damsel

The top three are dragonflies - this last one is an Ebony Jewelwing damselfly.
I LOVE seeing these amazing flying creatures!

  5. Great shots.
I can never take good macros - my hand shakes too much - or when I'm about to press the shutter release a breeze moves the flower.

  6. Great photos. And such cooperative dragonflies. I've been trying to get a few around here to slow down so I could take their pictures. No luck so far.

  7. Nice shots! I would say the first two are Widow Skimmers, the third is probably a Blue Dasher (but I'm not entirely sure on that one) and the last is definitely an Ebony Jewelwing - a type of broad-winged damselfly that likes creeks.
