You captured the beautiful transluscent wings!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots. You must have been out early to capture these. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteKerri, these are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAND I CAN SAY, KERRI, THESE ARE AMAZING ALSO!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteI can never take good macros - my hand shakes too much - or when I'm about to press the shutter release a breeze moves the flower.
Great photos. And such cooperative dragonflies. I've been trying to get a few around here to slow down so I could take their pictures. No luck so far.
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I would say the first two are Widow Skimmers, the third is probably a Blue Dasher (but I'm not entirely sure on that one) and the last is definitely an Ebony Jewelwing - a type of broad-winged damselfly that likes creeks.
ReplyDeleteWhat nice shots! I'm not sure what it is either but I captured something similar not long ago.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly took some great pictures. I don't know what the last picture is either, but I have seen them around here too.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots. I can never get these still long enough to capture
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe. These are beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! The wings, the shadows...great captures.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots! I love dragonflies. Not sure what that last one is either except beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing! You are so incredibly talented!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fishfly that got a coat of pretty green paint. Not sure what it is. But wow, great dragonfly shots!
ReplyDeleteAll four a fantastic shots... each one as something great about it.. in the second shot one of the wings as a tiny drop of mostures on it.. awesome captures.
ReplyDeleteFantastic detailed closeups. I love the one with the sunlight passing through its wings. Great Nature studies.
ReplyDeletegreat capture of the dragonfly! very nice!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots one and all, but the Ebony Jewelwing is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteWhat stunning shots!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty shots, Kerri... All done nicely! =)
ReplyDeleteFantastic pictures, what type of camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteI love your dragonfly captures Kerri~fantastic! :)
