Wow again! Do you know the name of this fella? I'm too lazy to look up :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and quote. The blue wings are incredible.I think this is a Pipevine Swallowtail.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful butterfly!I was going to ask the name, but see that someone else has identified it. Lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteThis is yet another fantastic capture. The colors are great. It's so sharp. I love it. And I love your quote to go along with it. Nicely done. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a really nice second try. I posted a butterfly yesterday. I got started a little earlier today. Stop by my place if you get a chance. Have a wwonderful day!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful set of photos since I commented last!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy visiting your blog and seeing what shots you have captured!
That is an amazing picture. The colors are spectacular!
ReplyDeleteHi Kerri
ReplyDeleteI'm well impressed you you dragon and butterfly pictures,I have never bee able to get a real good shot of any of them. We get a few butterflies and moths around the grden but it seems they are very timid... and Dragon flies more so.
Beautiful butterfly, Kerri. Very nice photo!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beauty. Love the colors!!
ReplyDeletePerfect capture of a real beauty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this glorious butterfly. Apparently there is a shortage of butterflies in the UK this year :(
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible butterfly! The blue on the wings is stunning! Another great contribution to project black! (What kind of plant life is in your area that attracts such an array of butterflies?)
ReplyDeleteYou just keep outdoing yourself Kerri. this is beautiful. I wish we had some of those flying around here.
ReplyDeleteOh wow Kerri, how incredible!
ReplyDeleteO wow! Just when I think you can't find a more gorgeous butterfly, you go and do it! Super wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I left a comment on all the posts down to the last Friday skywatch. Yes, I am finally catching up --it might take time for me some weeks but I eventually get there.
Lovely. How nice that you can use this butterfly for Project Black!
ReplyDeleteAmazing. So beautiful. We don't have many butterflies this year for some reason.
ReplyDeleteStunning butterfly!! Very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful color, you did it again, fantastic picture.
ReplyDeleteI’ve never seen such beautiful blue butterfly in private. It is really lovely with its blue wings. You’ve done excellent job, indeed.
ReplyDeleteVery handsome!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous butterfly and a great capture of it. It almost doesn't look real. Spectacular!
ReplyDeletethis is a fabulous shot for anything including project black!
