Great post Kerri
ReplyDeleteOur local river is now home to many birds, even Kingfisher are seen often, and of course Heron. The plant life is lush and it's a pleasure to walk along it's banks.
Yet when I was small that same river bubbled with becuse of water pollution. I remember foam would gather neat the falls, it was brown and the smell was chemical like.
It as taken 35 years of hard work and dedication to clean it up. Rivers are a lifeline to all, and should be treated as such.
What a beautiful view.. so peaceful.
