That is just so beautiful. Such colors!!! Thanks for your comment about the pine cone picture. I take it as high praise coming from such a great photographer as you!!
another FABULOUS butterfly shot. I'm getting suspicious...do you put glue on the flowers??? Only kidding...jealous cos my butterflies don't pose for me!
Is that a Tiger Swallowtail on the thistle? Beautiful combination!
I have to use a new blog and therefore SOON my benches one will have a new address. I hope you will keep the link to both of them on your page tho. (I am running out of photo space allowed.) You can still post to the old blog for a little while until I get the new one set up -- hopefully by next week. Starting the benches blog has been one of my greatest joys and I have a whole bunch more to add when I get more space. Did you see the bench Linda had on her blog JUST for us? There's a link on our blog.
What a wonderful photo! The colours are just great. The butterfly is stunning with its beautiful wings which colour matches fantastic against the green background.
I saw one of these butterflies earlier this week but unfortunately all I had was my little point and shoot and the butterfly wouldn't hold still enough for that camera. I'm always very impressed with your butterfly shots! Great work - awesome shot!
