Little pieces of my life and my photos.
Hey Kerri...congrats on the award! Your spider is certainly scary...what a great shot of it! I swear, your photography keeps getting better and better. I'm heading to Florida Monday to vote...will return following week. Perhaps sometime in November there'll be a sunny, not too cold day we can go on a photo hunt before I leave for the winter. PS: glad to see your moon up on your banner :-)
Wow what a closeup of that spider. He looks scary and very big so close by. Great shot!
Those are some seriously long legs. Any dancer would be jealous.
Much too cute in your photo to be scary :-) Really nice shot and that header photo is fantastic, too!
Yik. Those spiders are everwhere in the summer here. I hope you have time to come see my scary photos, and leave your link, too. http://newyorktraveler.net/photo-hunters-scary/

Spiders don't usually bother me, but this photo gave me the chills! Those legs are so long it's a little creepy! Great work!I absolutely love your moon shot as the header - it looks beautiful!
I see Daddy Long Legs all the time, and seeing them this close is sure scary!
Great catch! Marvelous but icky photo.
First congratulations on your award ! You deserve all the best! That spider is so well known, and is harmless, BUT why do they scare us so? LOL
I love spiders and this one is a beauty, like the showgirl of spiders!!
oh dear, that's scary! i hate insects!
I would imagine that if they got really big, they would be scary. I'm a little leery of those spindly legs.
That moon header is terrific!
Great closup, there are spiders like that here too the only sort I dare to take in my hand but I'm not sure if this one is the same, the color is a little different.
CongratulationsWell deservedGreat Shot
Congrats on the award. I always enjoy looking at your pictures on your blog. Looks like a daddy long leg. At least that's what we called them when we were little. Great picture.
He does have the longest legs I have ever seen! What a wonderful photo... ~Michele~
Hi Kerri!Great macro work.
Yes it's scary but you photo shot it beautifully..
Very cool. Excellent details. My kids tell me that daddy long legs are the most venomous spiders but their mouths are too small to inflict a deadly bite. I don't know if it is true or not but it certainly is interesting.
Daddy longlegs isn't that scary! At least he doesn't bite!~
The daddy long legs photo is really, really nice...and I'm not THAT fond of spiders and their kind. ;-)
Oh, Kerri, this photo is spectacular…extraordinary…I don’t know which word to use to express how much I am impressed with your work! The green leaves, the light, the long leg spider on the top of it and even its shadow on the leaf …all the details are just breathtaking!Congratulations on the award; you really deserve it!
