On The Farm

Give fools their gold, and knaves their power; let fortune's bubbles rise and fall; who sows a field, or trains a flower, or plants a tree, is more than all.
~  John Greenleaf Whittier

 Captured from our moving car.
No, I wasn't driving :)

That is such a lovely location, it is very clear to be taken from a moving car.
Happy SWF.

What a pretty barn! You did a nice job with the composition...not to mention it's focus given you were in a car. You seem to be getting pretty good at doing that :-)

A beautiful picture! I like the look of round hay bales and cannot resist taking photos of them. So many interesting things to look at as well as the sky. Happy SWF!

This is a just another great image. Some of us have to work hard to get something half this good and you took it on the fly! LOL! This is wonderful.

I love pictures like this. Makes me want to live on a farm. Get away from city life.

Great colors. I need to be sleeping against one of those hay bales. But only on the side with the warm sun on my face.

Another wonderful view, this time of a beautiful farm!

I can understand why you took it! The contrasting colors and the line up of those bales of hay are really neat! Love the sky with its cloud formations and the old silo too. I wonder what that little alcove is? maybe they store hay in the loft and throw it down for the animals?

Hi Kerri, I love those shots of the old country barns and that's a beaut! I also really love your header photo of the White-breasted Nuthatch, the birder that I am. What a great pose.
