A White Breasted Nuthatch and a Carolina Wren

The Nuthatch has his feathers fanned....so I don't think he likes sharing :)

I think the wren looks like he's in a plaid suit
and the nuthatch looks like he's in a tux!

Great photos as always. I think the Carolina Chickadee looks like he's in a tuxedo too (with a bowtie).
I love watching both of these birds. In addition to their dress, both of them have lots of personality.

I'm amazed at how good your photos are through the glass!
I love that you showed their colors. It is so difficult to distinguish some of these birds from the pix in the book. These were excellent! And the "distortion" was so cool, I thought you had done it purposely. It looks like the birds were painted on a screen painted with background vegetation. I loved it.
Beautiful shots. Wrens are one of my favorite birds, but alas another species that I have no good stills of.

This is a wonderful capture ... i love birds. One thing that many people don't know about birds is that they are very intelligent. Calling someone a 'bird brain' should be a compliment.
