I am with you on the worry front. What are we like?? Worry seems to be problem for so many people. Your blog certainly helps ME get things in perspective.
One of my husband's favorite sayings is this: "Worry is a rehearsal for tomorrow's failure." So he truly never worries about things he cannot control...just works on the things he can.
Kerri, this photo is absolutely stunning! Like strings of glass pearls. And the background colors are gorgeous. I need to do a little more macro!
I too am a worrier but as I get older it isn't quite as bad. Time seems to settle me a bit and I try to find things that make me feel at peace, such a music, photography, flowers, nice linens, anything to sooth my soul. Having two teenage girls I need all the soothing I can get!
Worry is a problem for me too. I had a tough time of it when my son was in Iraq. It pretty much consumed me for more than 15 months. But on the up side now I find that I worry less about the "small stuff".
I like the way you think. Many of us worry way too much, and most of the time it's for nothing, me included. I'll be reading your verses for inspiration. That spider web is awesome. Just like pearls. B.
Your photos are wonderful! Someone once told me that "worry is like a rocking chair -- it gives you something to do but it doesn't get you anywhere!" -- I think about that every time I'm prone to worry about something.
I just always remind myself that I am so not in control, therefore to worry is to waste energy. All will be well... all will be well. :c) Magical photo Kerri.
