They're beauties indeed. I too, was afraid of them as a child. I thought they'd be a stinging insect. The term "darning needle" didn't help on that account. Now I see them as magic. My absolute favourite insect. :) You did a fine job capturing these.
You are amazing photographer! It isn't easy at all to take a photo of dragonfly. But you have managed to take fantastic photos of it. it looks like this beautiful creature posed just for you. All the details are so clear and the green background makes my eyes good.
