The End of Summer and during Autumn I get really
wrapped up with leaves. They fascinate me. All of their different shapes and
textures. Their veins and of course their beautiful colors.
I am particularly fascinated with
the ones that fall and get stuck on other leaves.
I'll leaf you to it. ;) Lovely shot as always.

ReplyDeleteI was at the park yesterday taking pictures of activity on the river and saw a small maple with red leaves and then walked off and forgot to take the shot.

ReplyDeleteLovely leaf, There are gorgeous in the fall when they start to fall, here is a poem I like about it.
The old woman sits first
Smiles and bades the child
To sit by her side
The child of maybe two
Or maybe three makes a face
Wrinkles her nose
Avoids her outstretched hand
Runs to sit by her mother
Seeing this the mother
Smiles apologetically at her
And pats her child fondly.
Outside the wind blows
Blows away the dead leaves
The old woman smiles
And waits.
I like leaves too. I generally like autumn except I feel sad when the girls go back to school.
