  6. Happy Fall to you Kerri..

I hope you like this Poem by Elsie Brady... it's called:

    Leaves

    How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
    Colors gleaming in the sun.

At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
    Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
    Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.

  10. Kerri, this is so beautiful, and I don't even like fall. Actually I hate October (reminds me of my Mum's death) and Halloween(hate apples, monkey nuts and water-dunking).
But it's impossible to not fall in love with your work. There is such a sense of peace when I look at these pictures. They are really beautiful.

  14. What a beautiful collage! The bench beckons, doesn't it. It only needs someone to stop and rest to fulfill its purpose. I love fall, and your photos make me feel like celebrating!
