A Christmas Cardinal

He was decorating the pines off my back deck.
I thought he would look lovely on my Christmas Tree -
so I made an ornament. He is also available as a calendar print
and as a note card set.

  1. Too cool. We don't see cardinals, here. I've seen them in my daughter Carrie's yard in NC.

  2. When it comes to birds, turkeys mean Thanksgiving and Cardinals symbolize Christmas. Nice shot.

  5. Gorgeous! I'd love to capture a cardinal in an evergreen rather than the bird feeders!

  9. Hi Kerri,
Wow this is a splendid shot of him! I love this very colorful bird but I've never seen it... The ornament is fantastic too. I agree with Steve comments ;-) Looks like this cardinal resembles to Santa Claus.

  10. A very nice shot. I saw a few of them in my yard but I can never take a picture of them, along with the humming birds.

I find your photos of birds as thrilling as the "real thing" - they are their own "real thing."
    Thank YOu.
