I made a HUGE discovery back in 2009 I bought a one person chair blind - similar to ones that hunters use. It is possibly the best $50 I ever spent! It is PERFECT for "up close" shots of the birds AND keeps me covered in rainy or snowy weather.
This sounds like a perfect addition to any photographers tools.We did look at one,but didn't buy it ,and now can't find one that is just right.We'll keep on looking. Blessings,Ruth

Kerri.....ack...somehow I've missed your blog over the past month or so. I don't know how that happened. You have fantastic bird photos here. I love this photo!!! My husband got me a little bird blind thing. We're calling it the Birdy Pup Tent. I can't wait to use it. Hopefully on Christmas break I'll have time to get out. For the next week, I'm slammed. I still don't have my Christmas decorations up... Now I'm going to go through and look at the earlier posts.
That is a neat little blind Kerri. I have used an "outhouse" blind for a number of years now and it is an indispensable piece of my outdoor photo gear.
