Coming out of a restaurant today, I saw some beautiful white chested seagulls. They were about 17 miles inland. Besides the sparrows, crows, and a few other small birds (including hummingbirds) I seem to live in a much more bird scarce environ than you. Hmmm... we do also have red tailed hawks. (And ducks at the park.) Maybe... I'm just not very observant... hmmm...
...thank you for the wonderful wishes...and for posting the beautiful photograph. I am a sucker for White-crowned Sparrows. They are just so beautiful. Happy New Year to you...hopefully things slow down a bit. Time is speeding by too fast!
Happy New Year to you too xx
Happy New Year Kerri!
Great shot; poor little bird looks cold though! :o)
