I think...maybe...I'd like to be up there for it. But then again...
ReplyDeleteWell I'd like to see one too, but if there is a coming winter storm, I guess I've had enough storm for now thanks ;-) Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteThis picture is so pretty.I hope the storm isn't too severe.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
That's the thing Kerri, you have to look at all the snow optimistically, otherwise you'd go a little stir crazy. Thank goodness for photography to pull us through!
ReplyDeleteWe have had SO many birds the past few days with the cold, cold weather. It seems I can't give them enough to eat! Including the Blue Jays.
This is a Blue Jay, isn't it? We don't have them here, but I've seen them on Christmas cards.
ReplyDeleteYour photography is beautiful, Kerri, and I'm sure you'll get lots of photo opps in the wonderful, huge snowfalls. Which means we'll get the benefit- to see those pics! Wish I was there, I just love snow!
Wonderful shot.
ReplyDeleteSounds like your ready for the snow. They started predicting about 7 inches up my way this morning and now they have it up to 18. They always say we are getting more than we ever do. Time will tell. I hope I can still walk in the morning. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour blue jay looks happy in the snow!
Kerri, what lens are you using for your photos?
ReplyDeleteThis one is so wonderful, but then they all are!
Hope the storm will be more gentle than predicted! That pic is stunning -seeing that the drops of water have frozen!
ReplyDeleteBeing from NY, I miss those really BIG snowstorms falling... the initial peace and quiet and clean, unblemished snow, but don't miss the followup snow shoving and inconvenience involved with transportation, etc. I'll stick with my new found weather in Florida....today's tornado warning only lasted about 20 minutes and left us unscathed and ready to get on with life. Good luck to you! Take lots of nice pictures! Loret aka @PineLilyFNPS
ReplyDeletegreat photo, fab bird,
ReplyDeletewish i was there skiing.. woot!
cheers.
steve
Better leave some peanuts for those jays.. beautiful shot, Kerri!
ReplyDeleteWe got 14"--lovely but we are definitely snowed in (see my post for more photos).
ReplyDeleteWe got 13" from the same weather system. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteYou are probably knee deep in it by now Kerri. I hope you all are safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Blue Jay, and you have to admit the snow is spectacular!
B.
Just to let you know you got an award on my blog - no strings attached!
ReplyDeleteSo very sweet...and what a wonderful capture. WOW!
ReplyDelete*gasp* WOW Kerri! I love this little bird, his blue head just makes me tilt my head and go *awwww*.
ReplyDeleteI hope that the snow is beautiful and awesome and that you stay safe and sound and warm!
