Goldfinch in the Wreath

As you can see, the bird feeder wreaths are still working well.

I've started using whole wheat bread that is a bit old, spreading some peanut butter

on it, and then covering that in seeds. Then I place the bread in the wreath.

The birds love it.

Buried Treasure

This little guy had just dug up his "treasure" to munch on as I was walking

through the park.

An Amazing Experience

One Sunday I had a most amazing experience.

These little guys along with the White Breasted Nuthatches were so friendly...  I had them eating from my hand

A wonderful memory I will treasure!

Spring Fever Monday

We had an Absolutely GORGEOUS weekend here in Virginia.

I definitely have a case of Spring Fever.

Bluebirds - Triple Play

How fortunate I was to find THREE Bluebirds perching in the same tree.

I had never seen more than two bluebirds at one time...
so this was
just one more of those things I counted as an
amazingness in Nature :)

My World Tuesday

My world is full of benches and trees.

On Saturday I visited the Virginia Tech Duck Pond.

The water looks blue....that is actually the reflection of the sky on the water.

There are LOTS of benches here.

Lots of ducks too!
