...your snow queen is beautiful. The white of the softly falling snow and the green of the pine is perfect to her browns and reds. Love this shot...and that of the dripping and melting snow on the pine branch. Hope your storm passes you on by. I hate the ice storms too. They do so much damage to the trees.
Absolutely gorgeous photos! I do love your little cardinal. I live in Northern Virginia 25 miles out of Washington DC. That was quite a snow we had last night. I don't think I will be going anywhere for a while.
Such a great looking bird... Love cardinals. I was out for a walk two days ago and saw one in a tree off the side of the road... unfortunately I had the wrong lens on my camera and off he flew. Next time my walk will include BOTH camera lenses.
Robert Crais is a fave, one summer I read all of his, called it my Craisy summer. :) Huge fan of M. Connelly, H. Coben, D. Lehane, Grafton, and all of your birdie pics. My fluffy, windblown cardinal is such a hit! Gayle
Sometimes, I just sit and stare at you photos for awhile! They bring me such peace. I hope the ice passes you by - we actually NEED snow in the mountains of CO.
Those cardinals are so beautiful - how could we not be grateful for a world with such amazing creations in it? I hope you and your birds are surviving the snow!
I'm sure the cardinals, et al are so happy to have your feeders available! It's incredible, the weather SW Virginia is having this year!
