I have a pair of cardinals living in a cedar tree in my back yard but so far I have NOT been able to capture them with my camera! I'm trying to coax them to eat safflower seeds from a feeder hanging on a linden tree but I think it's the wrong kind of feeder.
Yes she was!! Or maybe she was looking at this big lens and this nice camera doing clic clic... Wonderful picture! The glimpse in the eye is just perfect!
We do not get these here which is such a pity... I have now seen many of these on the blogs and my first impression was the bright red of the males would take some beating. But slowly I have come to see the beauty in the females. This as to be one of the best shots I've seen Kerri... well done she is a true beauty.
Sometimes I really think the birds look right at me.
