The bluebird carries the sky on his back. Henry David Thoreau
Not one of my normal bird shots! And closely cropped so the resolution isn't that great but the bluebird with outstretched wings is not a shot that I get very often :)
What an incredibly beautiful photo...truly a magical moment you have captured here...thank you for making it possible for all of us to now witness this beauty:)
And Wow again, Kerri! I too am running out of words for your fabulous photography. The outstretched wings remind me of a lovely skirt I once had, with little sections of pleats, just like these wings. It was lilac, not this stunning blue. Isn't nature wonderful? When I see a picture like this, it convinces me there has to be a God out there. Thank you for sharing.
It is beautiful! Great shot! I keep watching for the bluebirds here. Usually they show up in the spring, but so far I haven't seen them!
ReplyDeleteIn a word - "WOW"!

ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot! The blue of this bird is so wonderful and to see his outstreched wings ~ so cool!
ReplyDeleteSerendipity!! Perfect timing and fabulous capture!!
ReplyDeleteStill gorgeous! Love that color!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture : )
ReplyDeleteNormally, my male bluebird is making an annoyed face at me, as if to insist that I get out of my yard because it's his territory.
Rare get indeed! And I think the clarity is fine...
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning shot!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS!!!
