This is from one of my "outings" with the macro lens. I really LOVE that lens! The Macro has shown me how lovely some not-so-lovely creatures can be. I now have a new respect for flies! Who knew they could be so colorful? I sure didn't!

WOW.. that's just incredibly beautiful! You're a macro wizard!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot, that fly looks like a jewel.
ReplyDeleteI agree - I love my macro lens; one of my 3 favourites. Great capture!
ReplyDeleteIf this was taken hand held, then I'm gonna be so,so sorry I didn't hold out for that lens!
ReplyDeleteGreat !!! What a wonderful macro :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you were having a serious conversation with this dude!
ReplyDeleteAlmost looks as if he could be an art deco piece of jewelry!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I'm speechless....
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome picture.I agree that even a fly can look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
Wow!! That is amazing!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I never knew they were so colorful! Fantastic capture, Kerri!
ReplyDeleteLook at those eyes - wonder what it was thinking? Your blog format is great, Kerri. Is it a custom creation, or are you using a Blogger one? I like the size of you photos.
ReplyDeleteI suppose we're too busy swatting flies away to notice their colour.
ReplyDelete"All God's creatures have a place in the choir" comes to mind when I look at this beautiful macro photo.
Well done- you see, and showcase, a side that's not usually seen.
Oh, the little sparrow makes me so sad. I hope the little thing makes it in this rough old world.
ReplyDeleteIt kind of gives me the heebie jeebies to have those huge fly eyes looking at me. Diane
But as usual your shots are phenomenal!
I love macro photography especially for that reason!
ReplyDelete"What lovely big eyes you've got". Superb shooting Kerri.
ReplyDeleteSuperb Kerri
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice fly
Great shot Kerri! And you're right, they are much more colorful than I though they would be.
ReplyDeleteBut I still don't respect them ; ) Seriously, they freak me out.
The macro lens is a reminder to me to see the beauty all around me. Most of us live at one level of magnification, but to those who can micro, macro, and points in-between? Perspectives galore!
ReplyDeleteOh.
ReplyDeleteMy.
Gosh.
You are so amazing.
Wow...love the color in this! Amazing!
