Little pieces of my life and my photos.
Birds and animals are amazing when they loose a limb. I've seen broken legs on birds but not a missing leg. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on a much deserved connection on Nature Blog Network!! I love this shot~you captured him beautifully!!
Awww... I do hope he's still around Kerri. I love seeing birds survive deficits like this.
Oh my stars ~ poor wee bird! Isn't it amazing how nature can adapt though. Hopefully the sweet thing is happily sitting in a nest somewhere!Have a great day Kerri!xo Catherine
Hi Kerri,Well life is hard but he might have survived who knows...Congrats on the nature blog network, this is well deserved!
I think most birds can do just fine with one leg. He appears to be quite healthy and steady on his foot. How cool being a part of the NBN! Way to go Kerri! You always have such wonderful photos to show us : )

Ohhh...aren't birds resilient?! Very clear photo! I have never seen a Song Sparrow before.
Ah, poor little guy, his life with one leg won't be easy.Nature Blog Network is a great idea!
Poor little thing, but at least he has wings to fly!
I was thinking/hoping that maybe his other leg was up in the air. Poor birdie... awesome composition though!
Congrats on your new connection. It always feels nice to get some bloggy recognition!
