Fabulous shot, Kerri. The symmetry on the wings reminds me of the symmetry in knitting 2 sides of a cardigan- is that strange? In spite of the lens, the blind and the cropping, I think you have an affinity with nature that gets you close. Just saying.
Stunning!! Love how you captured the little claws clinging to the tree branch. You have a gift for capturing these birds (and infinite patience - I'm sure).
Another awesome shot !! This birds attitude is great and your picture is fabulous :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great sunday !!
Cute shot of the AMrican Goldfinch, Kerri! They are colorul birds in the summer.
ReplyDeleteIt seems our goldfinch molted overnight and are now bright canary yellow. It always amazes me how it seems to happen so quickly! Beautiful shot Kerri!
ReplyDeleteHe is so beautiful! Great shot.

Kerri,
ReplyDeleteWell done! Gold finches around these parts are getting scarce this time of year.
Perfectly balanced in all respects Kerri. FAB.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture and thanks for sharing the three-fold strategy that helped you capture it.
ReplyDeleteTHanks for pointing out that beautiful symmetry.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
Another beauty. How right you are about the symmetry!!
