Ladybug Found

During a 4 hour walk one weekend I broke out my Macro lens. Next to my 70-300mm - the Macro is my favorite. A LOT of my macro pics are taken with the 70-300mm.  Most of the dragonfly, damselfly and butterfly pics are with that lens. I just can't get close enough with the 105mm Macro to those creatures without them flying away. However, the ladybugs don't seem to mind if you put a lens right up next to them :)

  4. What is it about a ladybug that is so enchanting? Such a wonderful photo Kerri!

My girlfriend has the Nikon D90. She really likes it. Hopefully it won't stay on your 'wish list' too long but will be in your hands instead! :)

    Have a wonderful weekend Kerri!

  8. A Marco lens is such fun to work with.I do understand using the telephoto,as some critters are easier to capture that way.I use my telephoto much more than any other lens.

  12. I've tried and tried and can't get a decent ladybug shot. For some reason, they always come out blurry. Maybe I'm trying to get too close.
I've got an 18-250 lens. A macro lens is on my wishlist.
