Silver Spotted Skipper Peek-a-Boo

Love its big eyes peeking over the top of the flower. My first thought was sweet pea, too, by the way. Of course, I can't see the whole plant. Just out of curiosity, what makes you question it?

This is a great shot Kerri! Composition is A+++. What happened to your lens? What were the symptoms? Not focusing?

I think this is fabulous - and different - and creative. I love it. It's beautiful.

That image looks just fine to me. We were out this morning, and I took a picture very similar to yours, and I do think the flower is Sweet Pea. Mine has a Bumble Bee on it, and I'll post it in a couple of days.
have a nice week-end and I hope you get your lens back soon..

Kerri, your images are always excellent and inspiring! I know how you feel though, the rut part, I feel it sometimes too. Hopefully you'll find more inspiration to spur you on!

Glad to know you can at least have your lens fixed!

Kerri - It looks like the bug is peeking at you over the bright flower! (That looks like a member of the pea family.)
