Sharing The Leaf

These little guys were sharing the same leaf. The smaller one I think is a type of leaf hopper.
Isn't it nice when we all get along?

Looks like what my grandparents used to call a "potato bug". But that might just be a local common name amongst farmers...

Sorry, I meant potato beetle. But I don't think it is, carapace pattern in similar, but the head on your beetle is too dark I think...

not far off the beautiful, deadly japanese beetles that are destroying my wonderful pole beans - I was mesmerized by the loveliness of the first, but now that my beans are shredded, not so much.

Wow - what a capture - how cool that two bugs like that were sharing the same leaf. Wonder how long they stayed there...
