They seem to JUST be showing up here. My sister saw two the other day, but I've seen none here on Chickadee yet. Wonderful photo Kerri! Have a beautiful day my friend.
Kerri, This is lovely! I saw three Monarchs on a Swamp Milkweed yesterday, but no camera. In my archives I have a photo of 40-50 Monarchs perched on cherry leaves all with open wings catching the morning warmth! Some photos from that day are at http://rlephoto.blogspot.com/2009/09/monarch-migration-now-underway.html
How beautiful! I just had a wonderful Monarch encounter this weekend. Still processing photos, but think they're my next blog subject. They're so big and gorgeous, aren't they?
