Wow. A beautiful creature and great photography.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous creature!
ReplyDeleteThat's tree bark?! Wow. I wonder what kind of tree. Love the lichen too.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and would not have guessed that was tree bark. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteEven though I am not a fan of this type of critter,he is kind of cute with that blue tail.
ReplyDeleteThe bark on the tree is gorgeous.
Blessings,Ruth
A stunning capture, Kerri. I love those baby skinks and on that background he's awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing out the bark on the tree! I only saw the striking blue shade and the stripe on the skink!! :-) I love how we all have different perspectives and can share each of ours with each other!! :-)
ReplyDeleteA very sleek looking creature!!
ReplyDeleteThere yo go again, Kerri - I think you have cut some inside deal with Mother Nature! A SKINK! Who would even believe they could capture such a picture. (The tree is wonderful, too.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo.. colours.. texture.. everything.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful image! I love everything about it. Very cool looking sleek skink. The bark is fascinating. Absolutely fabulous ... as always!
ReplyDeleteI love these little critters. The lizards scurry around my yard and up the fences, trying to get away from my dog, that is so utterly fascinated with them. Your photos are phenomenal.

Love this image Kerri. And I'm very fond of skinks. Wish I saw them more often...
ReplyDeleteThe background is absolutely awesome, he's kinda cute too.

ReplyDeleteI had never seen a lizard with these colors, thanks for having shown
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the skinks on my porch! Cool colors in the brick made a really nice backdrop. :c)
ReplyDeleteGreat catch; they move very fast don't they?
ReplyDeletePOTW mention...congratulatios
That's just a fabulous composition, Kerri! Cute little guy and wonderful bark. Good job!!
ReplyDeleteAnd congratulations on being chosen one of Hilary's POTWs...I can sure see why she chose this post.
great photo - I love the lines and how the colors change!
ReplyDeleteBoth the skink and the tree are marvels. Good for you for capturing both at once and sharing the shot. :)
ReplyDeleteSo full of different textures . Interesting little critter and the bark is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Hilary's. Congrats on POTW. I love the color on this skink in contrast to the bark color. Good capture.
ReplyDeleteI like the bark too - and the blue tail!
ReplyDeleteAll the colors are so vivid....skink and bark. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteHe's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love these little guys! I've only ever seen one or two in Northern Michigan :)
