Thanks for pointing out the bark on the tree! I only saw the striking blue shade and the stripe on the skink!! :-) I love how we all have different perspectives and can share each of ours with each other!! :-)
There yo go again, Kerri - I think you have cut some inside deal with Mother Nature! A SKINK! Who would even believe they could capture such a picture. (The tree is wonderful, too.)
I love these little critters. The lizards scurry around my yard and up the fences, trying to get away from my dog, that is so utterly fascinated with them. Your photos are phenomenal. Brenda
I saw this little guy while I on vacation in North Carolina at the end of June 2010. I thought he was a cutie - but I also LOVE the bark on this tree!
