What a great photo! I haven't seen any Ailanthus webworm moths this year, but I am enjoying the photos from other bloggers who have. I love orange. :)
ReplyDeleteAt first I couldn't see the moth as the monarch caught my eye, this is such a wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteRazor sharp image with beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteYep I agree with the others: the Ailanthus Webworm.
ReplyDeleteVery cool bug. And great photo. You got a TwoFer!!
I had never seen one of those bugs before. Then earlier this year I caught one on my Black Eyed Susans. I was excited to see it had a proboscis like a butterfly -
