A Bird in Blue

Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of its own; and from morning to night, as from the cradle to the grave, it is but a succession of changes so gentle and easy that we can scarcely mark their progress.
 ~ Charles Dickens

As the leaves thin it is MUCH easier to see these guys in the trees. If you look closely you can see that he has a treat - an acorn or some type of nut.

Another poser for you! I love the earlier photo of the sleeping dove, too. I see fall is coming to your part of the world.

Lovely photo. I think he's got an acorn--there are lots of them this year. Thanks for commenting on my photo.

Blue Jays are my favorite bird, so I really enjoyed this pic. The fall leaves add a nice mood to it, too.

You know, Kerri, if I was a silk painter, I would use this photo as my inspiration. The colours are exquisite.

I've left a little award for you over at my place. I know you probably won't have time to do the thing that goes with it, but wanted to acknowledge how I love your blog.
