As I was watching/photographing this White-throated sparrow thru the dining room window, the sun came out and shined on his sweet face. If you look closely you can see some left-over berry juice on his beak.

I used to not like sparrows and then I saw that there were different kinds. I love the chipping sparrow and the white throated sparrow, the harris sparrow.. they all have beautiful markings. thanks for the close up..yes , you can see the bits of food in it's mouth... cool

ReplyDeleteThis sparrow is beautiful. The tiny fluff of sun bright yellow feathers above his beak is thrilling. The remains of it's juice berry sip of the morning is so exciting.

ReplyDeleteWas it a red or blue berry, looks red but the berry on the bush looks blue.
This sweet bird is lucky to be enjoying the berries and the sunshine! My birds have the snow but lots of seeds at my bird feeders! :)
