Hi Kerri, This is such an interesting photo. I see that in Stacey's comment she noticed the eyes. I don't think I've ever seen an eye on an insect quite like that. The detail is amazing. As always, I love the thought that you have chosen. Thank you Kerri! John

Oh, my gosh - what a SNOUT! It looks like a butterfly that wants to be an anteater. Great Kerri!

Nice shot! Hope your weather is better than ours a little further down 81 from you. I'd already had enough of snow for this year and wasn't thrilled to see more falling this morning. At least it's mostly melted now.

Ah, to garner the goodness and leave it be. That is to live. Beautiful post.

Great shots of the muskrat, butterfly and turtle. How exciting to get such a great picture of his head "peeking" through the grass. I have a park I take walks in and there are several lakes there. I always love to see the multitude of turtles "lounging" on a log in the sun. I love the "the only real voyage" quote too. Mickie :)

Wow! That's a wonderful shot. Great nature capture. What kind of butterfly is it?

Robin Robinson said...

Okay, pardon me, I do see that you said 'Snout butterfly.' I've never seen one either. Very interesting!

Love seeing this up close. Thanks for sharing the name, too. I don't think I've ever seen one.
