Cardinal Close-Up

Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold. But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow.

What a beauty. I came upon a bald cardinal the other day.. normal feathering except for his head. It was a strange sight.

Kerri, Your dragonfly, butterfly, cardinal--all absolutely stunning shots. The detail you capture is amazing. I'm thinking I may need a "better" camera even though I just upgraded (I don't think I went far enough)! I need to improve my skills too--time, patience, and practice (probably reading the manuel wouldn't hurt either) will make me a better photographer. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie :)

I really dont know how you do it! This takes so much skill and patience and it seems that you have mastered it all! The other day there was a blue jay and I was trying to get at least a decent shot of it but it is really difficult which really makes you appreciate photography like this and for that I praise you, you are truly fantastic!
