Cattail In the Breeze

Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.

  5. Great photo. I see these on my walks too. As a kid we called them punks.

  7. Beautiful photo and quote. It also puts me in mind of Gordon Lightfoot's "Pussywillows, cattails, soft winds and roses."

  9. Beautiful...
Question for you - do you know if Cattails have yellow iris shaped flowers on them when they bloom???
I saw some like that but wasn't sure if they were really cattails!
