Cardinal Connections

When we know ourselves to be connected to all others, acting compassionately is simply the natural thing to do.

I definitely feel a connection with the birds and the beasts of this world - and a VERY SPECIAL connection with the cardinals in my backyard.

Love cardinals... they are in and around the bushes at around our house all the time trying to stay warm this time of the year.

Gorgeous! I can never get a shot of a cardinal. They are ground feeders here and my camera just doesn't cut it. Thanks for sharing.

Seeing this shot has me wishing that we had Cardinals over here. The splash of bright colour must be lovely to behold in the middle of winter.
Thanks for sharing your lovely shots, Kerri, and those inspirational quotes. I needed both today.

I'm eager to return home and begin capturing my backyard birds again. I've missed them! So understand the connection.

I love cardinals too., especially in the winter. I agree that the more you study nature, the more compassionate you become.

There's definitely something about them, isn't there? They're just a little more - oh, I don't know - regal? than the others. They truly are special.
