Mockingbird Heading to the Feeder

Every one of us has in him a continent of undiscovered character. Blessed is he who acts the Columbus to his own soul.

I put some grapes out in the feeder wreath (on the left). Mr. Mocker looked very sly heading over to grab a few.

I've had my first mockingbird coming to my feeder this week! It started out eating from the compost pile and now it comes right to the patio for the homemade suet!

I love Mockingbirds. We have a few nearby but they don't spend enough time in our trees.

Fantastic capture! I love how the beautiful eye is in perfect focus. I might have to place some grapes out to attract these pretty birds.

Well, that's a clever thing to do with the grapes. Good photo, too!

Such a handsome fella! Love the Mocker and their feisty personality. The other day I came home to find one in the top of the pine tree in our backyard. I haven't seen it since : (
