I put some grapes out in the feeder wreath (on the left). Mr. Mocker looked very sly heading over to grab a few. Image taken 02-15-12
I've had my first mockingbird coming to my feeder this week! It started out eating from the compost pile and now it comes right to the patio for the homemade suet!

ReplyDeleteI love Mockingbirds. We have a few nearby but they don't spend enough time in our trees.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bird.
ReplyDeleteFantastic capture! I love how the beautiful eye is in perfect focus. I might have to place some grapes out to attract these pretty birds.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's a clever thing to do with the grapes. Good photo, too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a handsome fella! Love the Mocker and their feisty personality. The other day I came home to find one in the top of the pine tree in our backyard. I haven't seen it since : (
