These little birds are not native to Wisconsin, but I did have one at my feeder last spring. I'm thinking he was passing through. Beautiful shot, as always.
We get lots of "butterbutts" all through the winter and they sure cheer up a gray season. They love the berries on the wax myrtles (the older name for them is Myrtle Warbler) that are abundant in my yard and most places here in southeast Virginia. I'll miss them when they take off for more northern locales.
What a beautiful wee bird. You can't beat the sound of birds singing.
ReplyDeletesweet little bird! felt/sounded like spring here, as well today!

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty little thing .. never see them here.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I've never had a warbler here. I'm hoping for an early spring. The bluebirds have already been checking out the bird houses!
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous, Kerri!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous picture. Did Marcaus Aurilius really say that? Wow.
