Kingfisher in Flight

I heard him before I saw him - and what a smile it brought to my face.

Was it possible that I might get a glimpse of that wonderful creature - the Belted Kingfisher?

I did get a faraway glimpse as he flew over the pond.

Just a blur - but a wonderful moment to capture.
