Wildflowers Make Me Happy

Everything holds its breath except spring. She bursts through as strong as ever.

One of my fondest childhood memories is going "flower hunting" with my sister.  I have LOTS of wildflowers in my archives but most of them are unidentified.  I hope to remedy that with your help.  I'm going to start posting my wildflower shots in hopes that we can identify these together.  This flower blooms in April (this taken April 14)

  9. So pretty! Isn't it strange that so many "weeds" have such beautiful little flowers? Our weeds/wild flowers are bursting out here in mid-February, which is pretty usual. We've even had daffodils in bloom for the past couple of weeks and this past week I saw redbuds. That means the dogwoods will be along before you know it!

  10. The leaves and placement of the blossoms don't look like dame's rocket to me. But I cannot tell you what it is. Sorry about that.
